Meet Dr Sneha Krishna

Endocrinologist & Obstetric Medicine Physician

Dr Sneha Krishna is an Australian-trained Endocrinologist and Obstetric Medicine Physician with many years of clinical experience across Queensland and the Northern Territory.

She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Endocrinology, 2024) and holds the SOMANZ Obstetric Medicine Certificate. She also has a Master of Public Health and is a Senior Lecturer at Griffith University School of Medicine, where she is involved in teaching and mentoring medical students.

Dr Krishna has called the Gold Coast home since 2012 and is proud to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to the local community.

How to Book an Appointment

Dr Krishna sees patients by referral. Here is what to do.

1. Get a Referral

See your GP or referring doctor. GP referrals are valid for 12 months, and referrals from other specialists for 3 months.

2. Send Your Referral

Your doctor can send the referral to Dr Krishna, preferably via Medical Objects. A referral is required to claim your Medicare rebate.

3. Prepare Your Documents

Bring recent blood tests, imaging reports and an updated list (or photos) of your medications. If you are unsure whether something is relevant, bring it along.

4. Attend Your Appointment

Dr Krishna will review your reports and decide what further tests are needed.

If your symptoms or condition change while you are waiting for your appointment, please see your referring doctor or GP for review.

Do I need a referral?

Yes. Dr Krishna requires a referral from your GP or referring doctor before an appointment can be arranged. This is also required for you to claim a Medicare rebate.

How long is my referral valid?

Referrals from a GP are valid for 12 months. Referrals from other specialists are valid for 3 months.

How should my doctor send the referral?

Referrals are preferred via Medical Objects. Your doctor can also contact the rooms using the details in the Locations section.
